I just haven't done anything different worth talking about! Still shooting regularly (weather and time permitting), but it's all been in the "safe" zone for the most part...lots of Polaroid:
and medium format.
I do have some stuff to talk about soon, though. I had this:
But I sold it and bought this:
I still have to talk about the Duo:
And I recently bought a Bronica EC to see how usage compares to the S2A and C...
I will make an effort to shoot a couple rolls through the EC this weekend. I also just bought a Polaroid Daylab JR. I have a couple cases of Type 108, and if I don't find a way to use some of it up it will end up just drying out...figure this will be a good way to play around with it.
So, yes, I will try my best to actually update this blog in the near future! You can always check out my flickr site, follow my tumblr and instagram and twitter, or add me on facebook.
For now, enjoy this:

Hello,
ReplyDeleteI found your blog when I tried to find information about old Polaroid instant 10 land camera. I got this camera just recently from my grandma and Im wondering can I find a film to it anymore anywhere...? If I understood right they have stopped making the Polaroid type 88 film already longtime ago. On some forum they mentioned about Viva colour ASA 80 but didnt really find that one anywhere either. Would you have some tips about this matter? Which film actually suits in this camera?
Thank you in advance :)
H
Unfortunately, unless you find some Type 80 film, it is pretty much useless as a camera. That would be Viva, 84, 85, 87, 88, and 89. You do see them on ebay on ocassion, but it's up to you if you want to spend the money and chance getting non-working film...
DeleteMy bookmark has been so lonely, but I'm glad to see you back!
ReplyDeleteHi Sean, I have been following your blog for a while now. I have some questions about polaroid 669 and other types. I wondered do you have an email address I can contact you via?
ReplyDeleteThanks,
Vikky
Hi Sean, you surely heard about the Fuji Fp3000b production line being dismissed. I'd like to invite you and your guests to sign the petition here:

I'd like Fuji to understand how much important is for the brand awareness to keep connection with analogue artists and enthusiast. We can figure out a way for Fuji Fp3000b production to be sustainable. Thank you Sean. You did more for my shooting style than you can imagine.
Hi,
ReplyDeleteAre You still there? I have just started experiments with Polaroids and your blog is a big inspiration for me...
